Cloud Sherpas strengthened its management team and continued its momentum today with the appointments of two senior staff members. Chris Arroyo, formerly vice president and CFO at Capgemini, has been named CFO at Cloud Sherpas. Also joining is Gary Diorio, who will lead Cloud Sherpas’ business.

The appointments follow the merger earlier this year of Cloud Sherpas and GlobalOne, a move that created one of the world’s largest cloud solution providers (CSPs). The CSP market is growing rapidly as enterprises worldwide launch cloud applications.

Cloud Sherpas is on pace for a record year. The CSP was named Google Enterprise 2011 Partner of the Year in January, and is a Salesforce Platinum Cloud Alliance Partner in Asia-Pacific and a Gold Partner in the U.S. Cloud Sherpas recently migrated its two-millionth worker to the cloud. The company has over 2,500 clients and is projecting revenue of $45 million in 2012 - more than double its number from 2011.

“Chris and Gary come to Cloud Sherpas with strong backgrounds managing fast-growing businesses, as well as extensive experience managing integrations related to mergers and acquisitions,” said David Northington, CEO at Cloud Sherpas. “Both possess the leadership skills, experience, and knowledge necessary to help Cloud Sherpas take another major step in its development.”

Arroyo has more than 17 years’ experience in finance and operations in the technology and consulting industries. At Capgemini and Ernst & Young before that, he specialized in optimizing internal cost structures to enhance efficiency, discipline, predictability, monthly forecasting and financial close processes. Arroyo played an integral role in developing the global system integrator’s client pricing and deal structure strategies, and negotiating its largest and most complex contracts. In addition, prior to joining Cloud Sherpas, Arroyo served in an advisory role for high growth companies.

Diorio also joins Cloud Sherpas from Capgemini. Diorio has worked over 20 years in the consulting and software industries, most recently serving as leader of one of their largest business units in North America. Under Diorio, the business unit had annual revenue over $350 million, and grew profits 50% in each of the last two fiscal years. Prior, Diorio held senior leadership positions at Adjoined and served as the President of Intershop and Plaut Consulting.
