The Bahama "Cruise for a Cause" Announces Keynote Speakers and Programs

Denise’s Breast Cancer Survivor’s Foundation has organized the First Annual “Cruise for a Cause” to the Bahamas, which leaves from Miami, Florida on March 25, 2013, and is raising funds to help breast cancer patients and survivors, their families, and caregivers. Denise Robinson, founder and hostess, announces the lineup of keynote speakers and programs. Reservations for the cruise are being accepted through October 25, 2012.

The First Annual Breast Cancer Survivor’s Cruise to the Bahamas in spring 2013 announces its keynote speakers and workshop presenters: Dr. Evelyn Higgins, Reverend Robert W. Robinson, and Lou Paradise, president and chief of research, Topical BioMedics, Inc.

Dr. Evelyn Higgins is a recognized international expert on fitness, diet and health. She is a nationally syndicated radio show host heard coast to coast as well as a 25-year practicing physician, author, health care commentator, columnist, and lecturer who has appeared on numerous radio and television programs including NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw. Dr. Higgins is a certified addiction professional and Diplomate American Board of Disability specializing in pain management and participates in the Harvard Medical School Continuing Education program in Body, Mind, and Spirit medicine. The Reverend Robert W. Robinson is a chaplain with both New York State Council of Churches and Chaplain Crisis Response Ministries, and has received many awards for his achievements in the areas of criminal justice and regional outreach programs. He founded the New Horizon Evangelical Outreach Ministries (NHEOM), Hopewell Junction, NY, and founded and directs the organization Men Helping Men, which produces a television show on Time Warner Cable. The First Annual Breast Cancer Survivor’s Cruise is hosted by Denise’s Breast Cancer Survivor’s Foundation, Stormville, NY, a nonprofit charitable organization founded by breast cancer survivor Denise Robinson. Guests depart from Miami on March 25, 2013 aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s elegant “Norwegian Sky,” with ports of call at Nassau Bahamas, Grand Bahamas Island, and Great Stirrup Cay Bahamas before the ship returns to Miami on March 29th.

Open to the public, the cruise is offered to men and women who are currently receiving breast cancer treatments, breast cancer survivors, caretakers, families, friends, and anyone who simply wishes to enjoy a relaxing vacation knowing they are, at the same time, helping individuals who are coping with cancer. There are a range of special price options, starting at$510 for an inside cabin, $550 for an ocean view, and $850 for a balcony.
