Ronald L. Samuels, Chairman and CEO of Avenue Bank, today announced two promotions and six new associates who have joined the Avenue Bank team.
Seth Butler has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Team Leader. He is a graduate of Emory University earning a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics as well as Economics. Seth has 16 years of banking experience, the last 11 of which have been dedicated to the Nashville Commercial Real Estate market. He joined Avenue Bank at the company’s founding in 2007.
Andres Tapia has been named Vice President and Bank Secrecy Act Officer. He started with the bank in 2007 and most recently served as Bank Support Manager. He brings more than 10 years of banking experience. He has a master’s in Business Administration from Belmont University and a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Stephen F. Austin State University.
David Driggs is a new Vice President, Mortgage Loan Officer, for Avenue Bank’s Mortgage Team. David brings over 20 years of experience in mortgage lending, including experience in loan production, as well as managing branches and divisions that consistently produced in excess of $100 million in annual loan volume. He is a Nashville native and a graduate of Auburn University.
Richard Stone joins Avenue Bank’s Commercial Banking Team as a Commercial Relationship Manager. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and has been a commercial banker for the past eight years.
The bank has added four new Concierge Bankers:
Stephanie Carr is a Concierge Banker at the Cummins Station branch. She is a native of Franklin, TN, and a 2010 graduate of University of Tennessee Knoxville, earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and International Business. Prior to joining Avenue Bank, she worked for an IT staffing and recruiting firm in Franklin.
Sharon Mejia is a Concierge Banker at the bank’s Cummins Station branch. She is a native of East Tennessee, and a 2011 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance.
Josh Slater is a Concierge Banker in the West End branch. After a stint playing professional basketball in Germany, he returned to Nashville to begin his professional career at Avenue Bank. He is a Nashville native and earned a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Management from Lipscomb University, where he played on the school’s basketball team.
Emeline Thrash is a Concierge Banker at the Cool Springs location. She grew up in Nashville and is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining Avenue Bank, she spent her summers working at a community bank in Ashland City.
