Employee Engagement Roundtable helps Human Resources Leaders Improve Retention

High Profile Staffing hosted a roundtable discussion entitled “Using Employee Engagement as a Core Strategy for Your Business,” where contributors shared their ideas and their experiences.

On October 3rd, they hosted a roundtable discussion entitled “Using Employee Engagement as a Core Strategy for Your Business” at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

“Employee Engagement is at an all-time low right now,” said Bronwyn Allen, President of High Profile, Inc. National Gallup Management studies have shown that nearly 72% of current employees are either disengaged or actively disengaged at work. “We chose to focus on this timely topic since improvements are needed now and can make a significant impact on employee retention.”

Doug Curtis, CEO of AT&T Performing Arts Center, kicked off the meeting by welcoming everyone and explained the history of the venue as a corporate community partner.

Over 75 Human Resources professionals attended the luncheon to learn more about maintaining a company culture that promotes Employee Engagement. The panelists included Mike Haefner, Senior VP of Human Resources of Atmos Energy, Chris Ebbeler, Senior Manager - Workplace Community & People Branding of Brinker International and Randy Mayeux of Creative Communication Network. All were asked to share their company experiences with Employee Engagement strategies and how they’ve helped build their culture to support them. Randy led a book synopsis of ‘Encouraging the Heart – A Leader’s Guide to Rewarding and Encouraging Others’ by James Kouze & Barry Posner.

The response from High Profile’s clients was tremendous.
