Convoy of Hope, an international humanitarian relief agency, will deliver 40,000 pounds of food and supplies to the St. Vincent de Paul Village warehouse today to help give hope to residents of St. Vincent’s homeless transitional housing program in San Diego County.
Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) employees and volunteers will be on hand to receive and process the delivery on behalf of St. Vincent. In addition to receiving the delivery from Convoy of Hope, MSCA employees and volunteers will serve at the main St. Vincent de Paul Village facility.
MSCA is in the San Diego area for their 2012 Annual Conference. Convoy of Hope shipped the tractor-trailer load of supplies from its World Distribution Center in Springfield, Mo.
