I hope that opening up my office for a celebration will show people that our office is very nice, clean and welcoming.

Plainfield, IL (PRWEB) October 16, 2012

On Oct 23rd, 2012, Plainfield Dentists, Dr. Patel and Dr. Agarwal are throwing a party in honor of their practice’s one year anniversary. The celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony with free food, drinks, goody bags, tours of the office, and a drawing for a gift basket valued at over $200. Members of Plainfield’s Chamber of Commerce are scheduled to be in attendance and will be on hand to meet and speak with their fellow members of the community. The Plainfield dentists’ motivation behind throwing the soirée is to have the chance to introduce themselves to the community, without putting the pressure on patients that may be associated with a dentist appointment. The dental business partners acknowledge that dental anxiety causes people to avoid going to the dentist. Dr. Patel and Dr. Agarwal want to invite community members in to see the office and meet them on a personal level in an effort to take some of that anxiety away.

“Dental anxiety is a huge problem with children and adults. It usually stems from a bad experience. At Todays Dental of Plainfield we try to make every experience a positive one so that patients continue to come to us for their dental needs,” says Dr. Agarwal. “I hope that opening up my office for a celebration will show people that our office is very nice, clean and welcoming.”

Todays Dental of Plainfield is comprised of three operatories, two dentists and two hygienists. This allows for multiple members of the family to be seen at the same time. Dr. Patel and Dr. Agarwal invite their patients to watch TV on flat screens as they are undergoing their treatments, which may range from a basic oral exam, composite filling, or getting dental implants in Plainfield. They utilize dental lasers when possible, allowing for minimally invasive soft tissue (gum) treatments. They also use digital Panorex x-rays, which require only five x-rays instead of the traditional 20, offering patients a much more efficient experience. The dentists show the images to their patients and use them to explain different treatment options.

“I find that if the patient is knowledgeable about the procedure, it helps put them at ease,” says Dr. Agarwal. “Educating the patient is very important.”

The dentists offer a host of general and cosmetic dentistry procedures including:

Family Dentistry
Dental Implants
Periodontal Disease Treatment
Air Abrasion

Dr. Patel and Dr. Argarwal will offer tours to those who attend the celebration to show off their high-tech equipment and explain how different procedures work including, one of the most popular treatments among their patients in Plainfield, Zoom Teeth Whitening.
