Clarion welcomes new president, Deborah Patterson; Geoffrey Peckham to continue to serve as CEO and to take on new role leading research and development efforts.

Deborah’s skills and experience will greatly benefit Clarion as we continue to lead our industry in the development of safety sign and label systems that better reduce risk and protect people.

Clarion Safety Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of safety signs and labels, announced today that it is welcoming new president, Deborah Patterson, to head the company’s operations as it looks towards continued leadership and expansion in the visual safety communication industry.

“This is an exciting time for Clarion – for our employees, for our customers, and for the future of our company,” says Geoffrey Peckham, who will continue to serve as Clarion’s chief executive officer, while taking on a new role as director of the company’s research and development efforts.

We know her skills and experience will greatly benefit our company as we continue to lead our industry in the development of safety sign and label systems that better reduce risk and protect people,” Peckham says. “At the same time, I personally look forward to focusing my time on my positions as chair of the ANSI Z535 standards committee, chair of the U.S. TAG to the ISO standards for safety signs and symbols, and working directly with our clients to develop the state-of-the-art safety sign systems they need for their products, factories and environments.”

Patterson brings over 20 years of leadership experience to Clarion, including holding senior management positions at Deloitte Consulting, Honeywell, and Sun Chemical. She is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, and received her MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
