Santa Fe Sol Stage and Grill is the place and Santa Fe Brewing Company is the host of the 2nd Annual Oktoberfest from 12 to 6 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012.

Oktoberfest is a family friendly event will take place at The Santa Fe Brewing Company at 35 Fire Place and will feature live music and events throughout the day from 12-6pm. A portion of the day’s proceeds will benefit three local charities including the Santa Fe Humane Society & Animal Shelter, Esperanza Women’s Shelter, and Kitchen Angels. The day’s events will begin at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 20 2012 with live music beginning at 12:30 p.m.. Admission is FREE with a suggested donation of $5 for a taster glass which allows patrons 21 and older to sample seasonal beers from 9 participating New Mexico breweries including La Cumbre Brewing, Tractor Brewing, Turtle Mountain Brewing, Marble Brewery, Il Vicino Brewery, Second Street Brewery, Blue Corn Brewery, and Nexus Brewery.

Three bands will play during the course of the day including Mariachi Diferencia, Pigment, and The Sean Helean Band. In addition to live music and beer tasting, there will be a bratwurst eating contest, a 6-pack holding contest, and horse drawn carriage rides. Three local food trucks will be serving food throughout the day.
