Style Fashion Week LA Makes An Anticipated Return To The Runway For Their 4th Season of Must See Events

Style Fashion Week LA will return to the runway to host their fourth season of fashion shows at the stunning Vibiana Cathedral at 214 S. Main St. downtown Los Angeles. Over their past two seasons, Style Fashion Week has developed a devoted following, growing into a respected and influential event. This season will feature the collections of renowned international and national designers, as well as emerging talent. The six-day event will include live performances, installations, delicious signature cocktails, and luxury exhibits. Masterful designers from around the globe will send their remarkable collections down the runway during LA Fashion Week from October 15th-19th.

October 13th, 2012 (LOS ANGELES)– Style Fashion Week LA will return to the runway to host their fourth season of fashion shows at the stunning Vibiana Cathedral at 214 S. Main St. downtown Los Angeles. Over their past two seasons, Style Fashion Week has developed a devoted following, growing into a respected and influential event. This season will feature the collections of renowned international and national designers, as well as emerging talent. The six-day event will include live performances, installations, delicious signature cocktails, and luxury exhibits. Masterful designers from around the globe will send their remarkable collections down the runway during LA Fashion Week from October 15th-19th.

A VIP opening reception on Sunday, October 14th, will kick off the week's events in style at Petite Ermitage hotel. An abundance of amenities make this evening of luxury the place to celebrate artistry and revel in the excitement of the week ahead. Open bar will feature cocktails with Ginseng infused Status Vodka and Peligroso Tequila. Special menu catered by Petit Ermitage.

First to grace the runway on Monday, October 15th is Mexican American designer Louis Verdad, showcasing his new denim collection. Louis Verdad's sensual designs are forever inspired by the opulence of fashionable, societal women of his homeland. Both Madonna and Christina Aguilera have worn Louis Verdad's chic creations. High-end dressmaker, Dar Sara will close the evening with extravagant wedding dresses to everyday evening wear, Dar Sara's collection reflects the cultural and traditional trends influencing women. Dar Sara's exquisite craftsmanship expresses their personal dedication and investment in their designs.

Tuesday, October 16th will welcome the collection of Paulie Gibson. Inspired by the opposition of masculine and feminine, Gibson's line is heavily influenced by the juxtaposition of natural opposites. Flick Voyager will also showcase their line of luxury men's wear. Their Spring 2013 collection features bold designs and an edgy aesthetic with darker undertones and fearless concepts. Local Socialite's collection, uniquely designed to highlight the latest trends and emphasize individual style, will be presented that evening at 7:30 PM. Rounding off Tuesday's events will be returning designer MadisonPark Collective created by Trey Alligood III. His new collection "Breaking Free" reflects the passion and determination necessary to overcome the hardships of the last few years and symbolizes hope for a new beginning.

Over their 16 year history, the national arts and entertainment company GenArt has built a prestigious reputation for bringing unknown talent into the public sphere. Their tireless work to promote and fund emerging artists has made GenArt a powerful source of influence in the artistic community. GenArt has risen to the position of artistic authority and play an important role in shaping social trends. Their designers will debut highly anticipated collections on Wednesday, October 17th including an outdoor trunk show presentation.

Pacific Northwest fashion designer Bri Seeley, will debut her line of American made, women's apparel on Thursday, October 18th. Inspired by vintage designs, Bri Seeley's garments enhance the natural shape of the female form, inspiring confidence and poise. Kait Blu, the line created by seventeen-year-old designer Kaitlyn Fitzgerald will join Bri Seeley during Thursday's combined show. Kait Blu combines New England chic with bohemian sensibility. Her aesthetic expresses a tone of creativity and reinvention that has already proved popular among young women.
Our own California design house, Jhaus, will also present on Thursday, October 18th. Founded in 2011 by designer JLynn Hausmann, Jhaus is known for their American made and inspired, premium denim collection.

Closing the daytime shows on Thursday, October 18th is designer Patuna Bushyhead. Born in the Republic of Georgia, Patuna Bushyhead's exquisite draping defines the celestial elegance of her pieces, evoking a Renaissance like idealism. The delicate craftsmanship of Patuna's pieces demonstrates a mastery of fabric and thoughtful embellishment that is uniquely expressive of her ethereal style.

Thursday evening, international designer Nguyễn Quỳnh Nhu, creator of Quynh Paris, will take over the runway. The vibrant pieces of Quynh Paris exude a playful energy while experimenting with the structure of classic design. Elaborate embellishments evoke a sense of grandeur in her collections and express temporal transitions.
Thursday evening will draw to a close with Mumbai based designer Ash Haute Couture's luxury line of women's wear. Impeccable workmanship and intricate hand embroidery enliven the feminine silhouettes of her designs. Combining western style with eastern influences, Ash Haute Couture has created a timeless style of class and elegance.

Inspired by California style and the vibrant colors alive in the California landscape, luxury fashion brand iiJin’s Spring/Summer 2013 “California Soul” collection expresses the bohemian style of the chic California girl. iiJin will proudly debut their “California Soul” collection Friday, October 19, 2012 in their first ever U.S. fashion show, starting the Grand Finale of Style Fashion Week. Up and coming designer, Masai Payan, will debut his Spring 2013 collection alongside iiJin during Friday's daytime show at 4:00 PM. Masai Payan's style embodies the essence of femininity and is influenced by his Mexican culture and eclectic background.

The Grand Finale Night of Style Fashion Week LA on Friday, October 19th, features LA based designer Alexis Monsanto at 8:30 PM. Alexis Monsanto will reveal his Spring/Summer 2013 collection, “Jewels of the Gods,” inspired by iconic Hollywood beauty, Grace Kelly. Monsanto's designs enhance the natural lines and curves of a woman's body, uniting feminine sensuality with poise and elegance. His masterful creations embrace the body like a second skin. Monsanto's whimsical designs are highly adored by his celebrity clientele.

Dubai designer Furne One, will return to Style Fashion Week LA as the week's closing show. Recently featured on the cover of LA Weekly, Furne One is known for his fantastical style and unbridled imagination. His provocative images of fantasy, mortality, and power mesmerize on the runway and transform the environment around them. Furne One, a favorite of celebrities like Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj, will showcase his Spring 2013 collection, "Confessions of Mata Hari, Tribute to McQueen" at 9:30 PM.
