Free Class and Book Party at Kula Yoga in Brooklyn to Celebrate the Launch of “Visvamitrasana: Volume 1 of the Sage Series”

Nikki Vilella and Emily Stone, authors of the new e-book “Visvamitrasana: Volume 1 of the Sage Series” will be co-teaching a class on November 3rd from 7pm to 8:45pm at Kula Williamsburg. A launch party will follow the class.

To celebrate the launch of their first book, Nikki Vilella and Emily Stone will be co-teaching a free class on November 3, 2012 from 7pm to 8:45pm at Kula Williamsburg ( on 85 North 3rd St. in Brooklyn. Nikki will lead 90 minutes of asana based on the creative Visvamitrasana sequence she developed for the book, and Emily Stone will reveal what we can learn from the sage Visvamitra and how to discover the “sage presence” in ourselves.

“Visvamitrasana is a powerful pose that I love to help students explore, and this book is an extension of that,” says Nikki Vilella, co-author of Visvamitrasana and co-owner of Kula Williamsburg. “Emily and I have combined our knowledge to create an experience that is deep and fun and informative.”

Emily Stone has been teaching yoga and yoga philosophy since 2006. A former high school Latin teacher, she instantly fell in love not only with the intricate, transformative and healing practices of asana, but also with the mythology and theosophy behind them.
