InventHelp Client Patents “Sure Kan” – Modified Trash Can Invention for Home, Commercial Use and More

Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® attempts to submit clients’ inventions to companies for review.


InventHelp®, America’s largest invention submission company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Texas, has designed a garbage can with modified features to enable a user to remove a bag of garbage with ease. This invention is patented.

“Sure Kan” would minimize strain and aggravation commonly associated with lifting heavy bags. The reimagined trash can would provide a comfortable and hassle-free alternative to standard trash cans. Sure Kan would be ideal for use by pregnant women, disabled individuals and senior citizens, as well as suitable in homes and for commercial applications.

Sure Kan would consist of a new and improved trash container design made for the use of trash liner’s. The Sure Kan trash container would feature vacuum-release vents incorporated along its perimeter at its top rim and bottom interior wall. The Sure Kan includes a variety of foothold embodiments. One such embodiment would encompass the full periphery at the base of the can. The invention is designed for ease of use during refuse removal. A user would have comfortable access to the foothold while lifting the trash bag upward. The foothold would be used to hold down and stabilize the can during refuse removal. Sure Kan could be producible from different materials in various colors, sizes and shapes, such as circular and rectangular.
