Domain Holdings, a word-class service provider in domain brokering, development and monetization, announced today that its flagship monetization platform – DomainPower – was voted Best New Monetizing Solution at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. 2012. The award recognizes the top new revenue generating platform as voted on by peers, customers and domain industry service providers. In addition, Domain Holdings Co-Founder Chad Folkening was inducted into the domain industry Hall of Fame and SVP of Digital Development Alan Dunn was awarded Developer of the Year. The annual award show was part of the three-day T.R.A.F.F.I.C. 2012 Conference held from October 8-10 at the Ft. Lauderdale Ritz-Carlton. In total, Domain Holdings was nominated for seven awards, including the newly added Broker of the Year Award.

“The T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Awards, much like the Oscars and Emmys and Tonys and Golden Globes all recognize excellence in the industry,” T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Co-Founder Rick Schwartz said. "T.R.A.F.F.I.C. is proud of the recipients of all of the Awards that are nominated and voted on by the entire industry.

Folkening is one of the youngest ever inducted into the Domainer Hall of Fame. Inductees are recognized for their lasting imprint in the domaining industry. Folkening has actively bought, sold and developed domains for more than 12 years. His 2010 award-winning pitch for Rapid Domain Builder, a domain publisher platform, would eventually be developed and rebranded as DomainPower. Domain Holdings’ Executive in Residence Monte Cahn was also inducted in 2010.
Dunn, awarded Developer of the Year, joined Domain Holdings in June of 2012 as the SVP of Strategic Media. Dunn’s body of work accounts for more than $10 million in development and domain sales in his 14 years of online brand development.

"We are deeply honored to have received these awards as we know our contemporaries in this industry offer great solutions and to be recognized by our peers is an amazing recognition for the hard work of our team who always strives to be the best solutions provider possible," Domain Holdings Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board John Ferber said.

Started in 2004, T.R.A.F.F.I.C. is one of the longest running and prestigious domain industry conferences, bringing together the top businesses and entrepreneurs from the industry of domain monetization. The annual T.R.A.F.F.I.C. awards have been a show staple since its inception in 2004 where it started with one award – Domainer of the Year – before growing to nine categories in 2012. It has also reached outside the domainer industry with the“We Get It Award,” given to a “brick and mortar” company that understands the value of a good domain name. Salesforce.com, who purchased Work.com in July 2012, won the award.
