AspireHR, the recognized expert in SAP Human Capital Management and SuccessFactors, and JBS USA, the largest animal protein processor in the world, recently completed an upgrade to the JBS SAP HCM system that successfully went live ahead of schedule and under budget. JBS was originally equipped with SAP ECC 5.0 and needed to upgrade to ECC 6.0.
AspireHR was chosen for this project due to the experience level of our consultants assigned to the project, our familiarity with their SAP HCM environment, the ability to meet the aggressive timeline that matched their strategy and business needs, and a trust that we would deliver on time, on budget, and on scope.
AspireHR helped JBS plan for this major upgrade by reviewing custom software and necessary functionalities. Custom development objects that would no longer work properly on the upgraded system were modified to integrate cohesively. AspireHR helped to ensure that the required functionalities in Organizational Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Benefits, Time Management, and Payroll modules were maintained in ECC 6.0.
Five AspireHR consultants combined with nine client representatives to team up to implement the system upgrade of SAP HCM modules including OM, PA, Benefits, Time Management, and LSO. The project took twelve weeks beginning in May 2012 with a hard deadline of August 2012.

For quality assurance, JBS used AspireHR’s Payroll LaunchSuite for parallel testing. The software solution saved weeks of time taken for parallel testing and allowed the JBS and AspireHR team to repeat the comparison several times for greater accuracy.
AspireHR provided post Go-Live support for JBS and will continue to provide software support for AspireHR’s Payroll LaunchSuite and HR DataExchange, which will be used for mass data loads in the future.
