Participating in the walk, engaging with our social media page, or interacting at the dealership are all ways that our customers can help fight breast cancer and promote life’s adventures

Chapman Chevrolet employees and customers are uniting against breast cancer through the dealership’s grassroots support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on October 27th and other community activities.

This October’s events include a donation yard sale and barbecue; a Chevrolet Certified Service matching rebate contribution program; a social media donation promotion; test-drive and purchase contributions at the dealership; and a dealership-sponsored fund-raising walk at Tempe Town Lake on October 27th at 7am.

Last year with Chevrolet’s support, the American Cancer Society raised $1,079,633 in contributions to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. The money helps fund research, wellness and breast cancer awareness education, and support for breast cancer patients and their families.

“Our Phoenix Chevrolet dealership and customers are joining together to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer, more birthdays and longer journeys,” said Tim Mort, Chapman Chevrolet General Manager. “For the second year, we are committed to support the American Cancer Society in continuing its fight for more birthdays.”

Mort’s team, the Chapman Chevy Champions, will lead the dealership’s involvement in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk that begins at 7 a.m. Oct. 27 in downtown Tempe.
“Everyone knows someone who is impacted by this disease, whether it’s your mother, wife, sister, daughter or friend,” said Mort. “Participating in the walk, engaging with our social media page, or interacting at the dealership are all ways that our customers can help fight breast cancer and promote life’s adventures.”

Here are the Chapman Chevrolet sponsored activities planned in October in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer:
