BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (PRWEB) October 16, 2012
Abbott Press, a division of Writer’s Digest, today announced that Keith Ogorek, senior vice president of global marketing at Author Solutions, Inc., will be a speaker and panelist at the 2012 Writer’s Digest Conference West on Oct. 19-21 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, Calif. Considered a thought leader in indie publishing, Ogorek provides a unique perspective on the industry. He is the author of three books, “Eli the Stable Boy,” “A Clear View” and “The 7 Secrets of Successful Self-Published Authors.” Ogorek also writes “The Indie Book Writers Blog,” where he offers valuable insight and advice for authors and book marketers.
The programming of this year’s conference, “Take Charge of Your Writing Career,” is designed to educate authors about fundamental writing and marketing techniques that are essential to their success. Ogorek will share expertise in his workshop titled, “The Seven Secrets to Successful Self-Publishing” and will also be a panelist in the “Self-Publishing in the Real World” discussion.
“The Writer’s Digest West conference is a fantastic opportunity for authors to learn about publishing routes authors can take when producing and marketing a book,” said Ogorek. “I speak with many writers who are overwhelmed by all the options, and my goal is to help authors understand what is available and select, based on their goals for their books, the best path for them.”
