In addition to the new lighting control solution sneak preview, Lex Products will be displaying and demonstrating a wide variety of other portable power distribution solutions designed for the entertainment industry, including:

PowerHOUSE™ Bento Box® Break Out Boxes
Introduced in 2012, “Break Out Boxes” provide connection points for entertainment lighting fixtures, including LED lights, with multiple versions that feature various types of receptacles. All of the new boxes are fed from industry standard six-circuit lighting cables. Mountable models are available, which enable simple attachment to trusses or poles, horizontally or vertically.

The new Break Out Box models feature a Lex Products LSC19, 19 pin, 6-circuit, 20 Amps per circuit panel mount male or inline male on a cable tail, to three different output configurations:

  •     NEMA 5-20, 20 Amp duplex receptacles
  •     NEMA 5-20 Edison receptacles wired in parallel with 20 Amp stage pin receptacles
  •     20 Amp PowerCON receptacles

PowerFLEX™ EverGrip® Molded Motor Control Cables:
Winner of a 2011 PLASA “Rock Our World Award,” Lex Products’ proprietary EverGrip molding technology provides enhanced reliability and durability when connecting power distribution boxes to hoists in entertainment rigging and scenery conveyance applications. Available in 7 and 14 pin configurations, EverGrip cable assemblies feature a two-part molding process that encapsulates the interiors of the male and female connectors to prevent spinning and eliminate unmateable or mismatched connections. The EverGrip process bonds the cable to the connector to provide superior strain relief and maintain secure connections.
