It's the beginning of a new era for "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Alexis Bellino, and it doesn't involve the cameras this time around. A patient of Orange County plastic surgery practice CosmetiCare (http://www.cosmeticare.com), Alexis has entertained audiences from all over the world, giving them a sneak peak into a world only a few have ever truly experienced. While she will be missed on the series, everyone at CosmetiCare wishes her success with all her future projects and some well-deserved rest from the trials and tribulations of being one of America's most talked about housewives.
Alexis has been with "Real Housewives of Orange County" since the fifth season, which premiered Nov. 5, 2009. Her casting was a welcome addition to the show, which had experienced the loss of another cast member mid-year during the previous season. But after three years of allowing the world into her home, Alexis says it's time to focus on family and other opportunities.
"She certainly will be missed on the show," says Dr. Michael Niccole, founder and Medical Director of CosmetiCare. "She’s one of our favorite Housewives, and we've been fortunate to help Ms. Bellino with her cosmetic surgery needs. I'm sure audiences everywhere will hope to see her again on screen someday."
A patient of CosmetiCare, Alexis had been suffering from sinus infections and sinus problems for many years. The problems had gotten so bad that eventually she sought the help of various nose sprays and antibiotics to help her breath better. Eventually, she made the choice to consult with Dr. Niccole on a rhinoplasty procedure.
"The sinus problems Ms. Bellino experienced were not uncommon," adds Dr. Niccole. "Many people come to us with these issues because we can correct them with nose surgery procedures at our Orange County practice."
Rhinoplasty, also known as aesthetic nose surgery, is an operation that reshapes the nose to help create a more balanced and proportionate appearance. The surgery is very common amongst patients looking to reshape their nose, whether to remove a bump on the bridge or re-sculpt irregular or large nostrils. It is also a very popular procedure for people looking to open up their sinuses to improve their breathing.
"Rhinoplasty has some of the most dramatic results of any cosmetic surgery procedure," notes Dr. Niccole. "Most people don't realize just how dramatic the change to the look of the face can be, which is why we use computer imaging to show a virtual glimpse at what the results will look like."
CosmetiCare (http://www.cosmeticare.com) was founded in 1982 by board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Niccole. Serving thousands of patients each year, CosmetiCare is an award-winning practice that has become one of the most recognized names in aesthetic services in Southern California and throughout the nation. The company offers two locations, in Orange County and in Long Beach. In addition to Dr. Niccole, CosmetiCare’s team of medical professionals includes Dr. Burr von Maur and Dr. Sami Hamamji.
