Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) October 24, 2012
Mark Nelson and Terry Perkins, owners of Classic Wine Storage & Services, have announced that the company will open its third wine storage facility in North Texas in early 2013 at 2915 Riverglen Drive just south of the Hulen Bridge in the bustling sector of southwest Fort Worth. The company broke ground for this facility last month and anticipates opening in March 2013.
Classic currently has two locations, one in Southlake and one in Dallas, and is the largest private collector wine storage company in state of Texas. Once Fort Worth is open, Classic will have over 34,000 square feet of storage dedicated to wine storage across north Texas.
“Our goal is to take great care of our clients and their wine collections, and a Fort Worth location is the next step for us to meet the increasing need across the Metroplex,” said Mr. Nelson. “For many collectors, in-home cellars are impossible or impractical; we make out-of-home wine storage secure, safe, convenient, and seamless.”
According to the company, Classic has grown dramatically following the launch of each facility. Mr. Nelson opened a first 4,500 square foot Southlake facility in 2006, which has now grown to 7,700 square feet. The Dallas location opened in 2011 at over 10,300 square feet; the Fort Worth facility will boast 16,000 square feet. As with the other locations, Fort Worth will feature walk-in cellars, case and racked storage, pickup and delivery, as well as a private room available for special gatherings. Classic also provides opportunities for wine-related events.
Terry Perkins emphasized that Classic is dedicated to ideal secure storage conditions that encourage optimal aging and enduring quality over the long term.
“Texas is not the best environment to assure a consistent 55°F, so we’re here to make up for that,” continued Mr. Perkins. Classic’s storage choices include racks or walk-in options. In addition to wine storage, Classic offers a number of specialized services to private collectors, including inventory management both on-site at client homes and at Classic, shipping and receiving, refrigerated delivery, moving services, and insurance solutions.
For commercial accounts, Classic holds a TABC-bonded warehouse to provide a similar complement of services.
Anticipating a first quarter 2013 launch for Fort Worth, Classic leadership offers a solution for Fort Worth oenophiles interested in immediate storage, providing accommodation in Southlake or Dallas, then moving to Fort Worth as soon as the doors open on Riverglen, with transport via Classic’s refrigerated trucks.
“In fact, this is a very busy time for wineries and wine lovers, and we can help even though Fort Worth is not yet open,” Mr. Nelson concluded. “For those anticipating shipments from their favorite vineyards, they can arrange for Classic to receive and store the wine, removing the hassle and anxiety of what to do with these new bottles and cases.”
Once the doors open, the new Fort Worth facility will feature a two-story building with private access to the second story solely for walk-in locker clients.
