In addition to reflecting a new image, its Talent Network functionality enhances communications between job candidates and recruiters.

Today, Open Systems Technologies (OST) staffing solutions is launching its new website as part of its 2012 marketing mission to build its brand and enhance its corporate image. “We are really excited about the new website. We think it accurately portrays who we are, what we do, and our commitment to matching candidates to the right jobs,” says Managing Director, Marc Linden. OST, a well- established firm founded in 1990, describes its personality as modern – techy with a personal touch. “To be an industry leader you have to keep up with the trends,” Linden explains. “Websites today need to be equally as attractive as they are functional. We wanted our website to be interactive, easy to use, and a little more fun.” The site features a new color scheme, modern images, and an interactive map that, with the scroll of your mouse, shows how many jobs are available in each state.

The website also features OST’s new Talent Network, a functionality that facilitates communications between candidates and recruiters. By using the Talent Network, candidates will be able to apply to open jobs and be introduced to recruiters directly through the website. According to a recent article by TalentMinded.com, “Gone are the days of mass resume distribution via snail mail.” With over 272 million internet users in North America alone, 65% of them have a social networking profile. OST recognizes the importance of reaching potential employees online and creating an active community around them. When a Talent Network is created, companies, prospective candidates and current employees can connect and share information in one space. “This new website makes it easier to find interesting jobs, to apply for them, and to stay in touch,” says Linden.

TalentMinded.com echoed 3 reasons why a company should use a Talent Network.

1. Quality engagement. The internet has transformed the way candidates search for jobs. People are searching for jobs online to get information on what jobs are available and where. The Talent Network will help prospective candidates join OST’s network and familiarize themselves with OST’s jobs, read testimonials from current placements, and engage with OST instantaneously.

2. Employment branding. With the amount of competition for top talent rising, it is important to showcase the value of OST’s brand. By communicating OST’s mission, values and culture and by remaining visible to potential candidates – even when they don’t fit current opportunities – job seekers will have OST on their minds when something opens up and they’re ready to make a career move.

3. Streamlined process. With a group of top-notch candidates at OST’s fingertips, filling open positions is a much simpler process. Conversations with Talent Network community members are ongoing, so they’re familiar with OST and its employed brand advocates, and they are receptive to OST as a recruiter of choice. Members of the OST network become an integral part of its Talent Network community and are more likely to be a good fit with open jobs.”

“OST is excited about the potential the new website and the opportunities that the new Talent Network provides—both in supplying clients with a wider range of qualified candidates and providing a simple, easy way for candidates to get in touch with recruiters at OST,” says Linden.
