Sydney, NSW (PRWEB) October 17, 2012
Ninefold®, the Australian public cloud computing company backed by Macquarie Telecom, today announced a partnership with Majoran Distillery, a not-for-profit co-working space for Adelaide’s tech community.
It’s the latest example of Ninefold’s Cloud Booster Program, a nationwide strategy to foster innovation and accelerate the growth of Australian web based startups.
Under the program Majoran Distillery members will receive $300 per month credit for Ninefold’s cloud services for up to a year, including technical sales consultation to assist in the setup of their account. In keeping with the Ninefold ethos of sharing positive ideas, members will also be encouraged to write guest posts on the Ninefold blog.
“We are looking forward to working with Majoran Distillery,” said Peter James, Chairman and Co-founder at Ninefold. “They provide a powerful network of mentors which, combined with Ninefold’s cloud technology services, will contribute to the launch of many innovative ventures from South Australia.”
Members of the Ninefold Cloud Booster program benefit from a locally owned cloud-based environment run from Australian data centres, providing extremely low latency and local support. As well as the speed advantage of a local presence, localised hosting means Australian application providers do not need to concern themselves with international governance issues. Entrepreneurs can set up their computing environment in minutes.
“Our local presence means we can help to cut out the red-tape for these entrepreneurs, allowing them to focus on developing their ideas and establishing a business,” said James.
Majoran Distillery joins, Angelcube, Inspire 9, Blue Chilli, The Cluster, Fishburners, HUB, iLab, Innovation Bay, Pollenizer, Push Start, Spacecubed, Startmate, York Butter Factory and Creative Innovation as partners of Ninefold’s Cloud Booster Program.
