WeMontage is a new platform that allows families to create a unique piece of wall art, from their own collection of special memories. This platform creates custom, designer wallpaper sections from personal photo collections of the customer. According to WeMontage founder, James Oliver, Jr., “The wallpaper sections are completely repositionable, creating a mobile family art display, just in time for the holidays.”
How did WeMontage get started?
According to Oliver, inspiration for WeMontage came when his wife was watching an episode of Home by Novogratz, on HGTV, and called him into the room. In this particular episode, the remodel crew was hanging photo collages as large wallpaper sections in the basement of the subject family’s home.
“I was mesmerized by the beauty and uniqueness of the concept,” says Oliver. “I looked around and discovered no one was truly making it easy to recreate what I saw on HGTV, and so WeMontage was born,” he states.
How does it work?
Users of WeMontage gain exclusive access to the proprietary platform that was initially created with professional photographers and interior designers in mind. The site’s “drag and drop” montage tool gives customers complete freedom to create their own uniquely styled wallpaper collage, or WeMontage.
WeMontage hosts the actual application so there is nothing for the customer to download. They simply create an account, upload photos, drag and drop the pictures onto the montage canvas, and once they approve their design it’s ready to go.
The site creates WeMontages that vary in composition and size ranging from 6ft. x 4ft. to custom wallpaper sections as large as you can imagine.
Your WeMontage arrives ready for application to a smooth, flat wall surface. The sections peel away cleanly and easily for repositioning, states the company.
Create large photo wallpaper collages without the hassle of Photoshop, or dealing with a printer. We make it simple and easy to go from your images to custom wallpaper in just 3 easy steps.
