Autonet Insurance, the UK’s leading independent van insurance broker and the Insurance Times – Personal Lines Broker of the Year 2010 announces a new Director of HR, Penny Copeland.
As a business Autonet are continuing to grow year on year and as a result Penny has been appointed the Director of HR for the company bringing an abundance of experience with her.
Working within the insurance industry for over 25 years Penny has worked for Carole Nash Insurance Consultants as the Head of HR, prior to that she was at Independent Insurance and Commercial Union (now part of Aviva). Penny will lead the HR and Learning & Development teams.
Penny’s brief is to work closely with directors, senior management, the HR team and Learning & Development teams to design and implement HR and learning and development strategies that will ensure Autonet employees are the best they can be. She will be driving through initiatives that are already underway such as leadership, management development and NVQ programmes that will feed into an over-arching talent management strategy. As well as this Penny will be implementing HR frameworks and approaches that will ensure Autonet is ready and able to grasp the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

Penny will start her position as Director of HR at Autonet Insurance immediately and will be an asset to the company.
