Riverstone Residential Group, one of the largest privately owned, third-party multifamily property management companies in the United States, announces the promotions of two members of its executive leadership team, Lisa Skochdopole and Katie Fleischer. Effective immediately, Skochdopole will serve as executive vice president, client services, and Fleischer will serve as executive vice president, corporate marketing and communications.

For Riverstone Chief Executive Officer Walt Smith, the promotions of Fleischer and Skochdopole strengthen the company’s emphasis on designing industry-leading solutions for its extensive customer base.

“Expert leadership plays a pivotal role in ensuring Riverstone’s ability to develop and maintain authentic, long-term customer relationships,” noted Smith. “Lisa and Katie are two of the industry’s top professionals in their respective areas of expertise, and they are perfectly positioned to heighten the visibility and quality of our client, resident, and associate services.”

Skochdopole, who formerly occupied the role of senior vice president, client services, manages existing national client relationships for Riverstone. She holds considerable experience in acquisition underwriting and analysis, new development pre-construction planning, financial performance underwriting, asset repositioning, capital budget preparation functions, new development marketing and planning, business development, associate training, property operations and performance, and all facets of asset strategy formulation. Her primary duties will include working with existing clients to enhance portfolio growth opportunities and strengthen working relationships.

Skochdopole has worked in the multifamily industry since 1990. She formerly served as vice president at BlackRock, where she oversaw asset NOI growth strategies in the company’s Pacific Northwest Property Management division. Her other prior positions include director of asset management at Security Properties Incorporated and vice president at Trammell Crow Residential Services.

Fleischer, who formerly served as senior vice president, corporate marketing and communications, oversees strategies of broad corporate interest, including nationwide branding and collateral projects, public and media relations efforts, initiatives promoting company culture, Web presence management, advertising campaigns, reputation management solutions, and social media projects. She also led planning and implementation efforts for the Riverstone Web Platform (RWP), one of the first end-to-end custom website solutions in the third-party management industry, which provides owners, communities, associates, and residents with access to a cost-effective, feature-rich website resource generating tangible results. The RWP recently won the Best Use of Technology award from Multifamily Executive magazine.

Fleischer began her multifamily career in 1993. Prior to joining Riverstone, she served as national marketing and training director at BlackRock, where she oversaw the company’s nationwide sales and marketing training program as well as strategies for print and online marketing, advertising, public relations, and event planning. Additionally, as a National Association of Securities Dealers registered representative, she served as director of client relations at BlackRock, where she marketed and raised money for the company’s real estate investment funds.

“Since joining Riverstone in 2009, Lisa and Katie have both made substantial contributions that have generated a lasting impact on our company,” said Smith. “We greatly value their talents, and are proud to elevate their positions accordingly within our executive team.”

Skochdopole will continue to be based in Riverstone’s Seattle office and report to Riverstone President Terry Danner. Fleischer will remain based in San Francisco and report to Riverstone’s Chief Executive Officer Walt Smith.
