The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has announced that it was included in the winning deal team which won an award in the Consumer and Retail Products category at The M&A Advisor 4th Annual International M&A Awards. The award was presented for the firm’s role in representing the Justice Holdings Limited business combination with Burger King Worldwide Holdings.
The Greenberg Traurig team was led by shareholders Donn A. Beloff in Fort Lauderdale and Alan I. Annex and Kenneth A. Gerasimovich in New York, and included, among others, shareholders Bruce I. According to league table reports published by mergermarket, during the first nine months of 2012, the firm advised 61 M&A deals announced in the Americas, with a value of approximately $40 billion.
