Computer Industry Veteran Entrepreneur Joins VelociData Board

VelociData, Inc., the accelerated data integration appliance company, announced today the addition of Christopher O’Malley to the VelociData Board of Directors.

Mr. O’Malley has 25 years of experience working with many segments of the computer and IT industry. Before joining the VelociData board Chris was CEO of NimSoft and involved in the acquisition of Nimsoft by CA Technologies. He has held a variety of executive positions at CA Technologies including EVP of the Cloud Products & Solutions Business Line, where he was responsible for developing and executing strategy for the company’s Cloud Management and IT Management SaaS solutions. Earlier, Chris held sales and management positions at Applied Data Research, Inc. Chris serves on the board of directors of BlueNog, an enterprise software and solutions company. He is also the founder and a board member of the O'Malley Foundation, a non-profit organization that grants scholarships to deserving students.
