GraphEffect today launches SHIFT.com and the SHIFT Platform API. SHIFT connects people across and within organizations to help them work more efficiently. With the announcement of SHIFT, the GraphEffect social marketing application is now fully integrated within the broader SHIFT platform.
Third-party developers can also leverage SHIFT’s open APIs to integrate their own applications and allow people to work more effectively within any vertical. Along with GraphEffect (social advertising), additional alpha SHIFT API applications include Lettuce (order management software), Gradient X (Demand Side Platform for mobile media buying), HYFN (social and mobile application development), Kenshoo (search engine, social media, and local marketing), and The Resumator (recruiting software).
The company is also announcing that Adam Gerston will be joining as VP of Strategic Partnerships. Gerston will lead SHIFT platform partnerships out of the newly-opened Palo Alto office. Previously, Gerston spent two and a half years at Facebook, where he was instrumental in building the Preferred Marketing Developers (PMD) program from inception to one of the company’s largest revenue drivers.
In his new role, Gerston will oversee developer relations for SHIFT’s platform API program, building out a robust developer ecosystem. He will also encourage leading brands and agencies to adopt the SHIFT platform, so they can more easily collaborate internally and across organizations to produce more effective marketing campaigns.
