EHS now has its philanthropic sights on Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and has teamed up with the American Cancer Society to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in New York City’s Central Park on Sunday, October 21st. This is EHS’s 5th consecutive year participating in the fundraiser walk, and the team is already well on the way to reaching its goal of raising $3,000 for breast cancer research through bake sales, change jars, and even selling peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
“Helping others has always been a top priority for the staff and residents at EHS,” explains Christy Gaiti-Chatfield, Vice President of Student Life. “We are consistently inspired by our residents’ enthusiasm for supporting the community, and we can’t wait to keep it going through more events during the holidays and beyond.”
