DaisyBill officially launches to the public on November 1, 2012 and will aid providers and billing agents in taking advantage of California’s new workers’ compensation electronic billing (e-billing) regulations.

Effective October 18th, 2012 the state of California mandates that all workers’ compensation carriers accept electronically submitted bills. Electronically submitted bills must conform to the Medical Billing and Payment Guide and Companion Guide as outlined in 8 CCR § 9792.5.1(a).

Though providers and billing agents are not required to submit bills electronically, the benefits of e-billing are vast.
