Event Hosted by Investment Community of the Rockies (ICOR) Provides Attendees with Successful Real Estate Investment Strategies from The Front Range’s Leading Experts

New Direction IRA was a featured presenter at a real estate investment event on October 8 that provided approximately 100 attendees with best practices from a variety of real estate investment experts. The event, hosted by the Investment Community of the Rockies (ICOR), was the first in a series of real estate-focused ICOR events designed to connect real estate investors along Colorado’s Front Range with one another and with resources that can help them achieve their goals. The event featured workshops and panel sessions from a variety of experts, including New Direction IRA which provided attendees with expert information about how to make real estate IRA investing a part of an IRA portfolio.

“ICOR has a great track record of putting on great events that provide investors with practical know-how and a wealth of connections, and it was a great idea to expand that to offer a similar venue for investors focused on real estate. The turnout for the event was outstanding, and the content from speakers was first-rate. We were proud to be a featured speaker and to share our guidance about how to invest in real estate through self-directed IRAs,” said Clay Malcolm, Director of Business Development and Client Representatives at New Direction. “One of the best kept secrets in retirement investing is that you can have an IRA that holds tangible assets like real estate rather than just Wall Street securities. That’s very attractive to investors who are looking to diversify beyond stocks and bonds. It’s also attractive to investors who already have a lot of know-how about real estate and who want to apply that to their retirement planning.”

Malcolm added: “Thank you to ICOR for inviting us to be a speaker, and thank you to all the people who attended and expressed interest in self-directed IRAs and real estate. The feedback from attendees was great, and we look forward to being a part of the next ICOR real estate event.”

ICOR is a Colorado-based Real Estate Investor Association (REIA) that provides networking and educational opportunities to those interested in building wealth and relationships.
