International law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, along with the Stevens Institute of Technology, will once again honor and co-sponsor the 2012 New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame (NJIHoF) Awards Banquet. The ceremony will take place on October 18, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the W Hotel in Hoboken, New Jersey.
The New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame, established in 1987, promotes and fosters creativity, invention and innovation, which contributes to economic growth and improvement of the quality of life in New Jersey and around the globe.
The three Nobel Laureates included in the NJIHoF’s 2012 inductees are:
This year, the NJIHoF will present a total of 25 awards to individuals, research teams and corporations. Of special note this year is an award to Ridgewood High School chemistry teacher Hsuan Lillian Labowsky for her work with students at the school. "Her passion for science is inspiring." said Les Avery, President of the NJIHoF, "With teachers like her, NJ is assured of continuing its reputation as the Invention State."
