Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C. is pleased to announce shareholder Diane Vaksdal Smith has joined the Colorado Bar Association Board of Governors. Diane will serve a two-year term, ending June 30, 2014.
Speaking of her appointment Diane said, “I am delighted to have been asked to serve on the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association (COBAR) and I am fully supportive of COBAR’s mission ‘to improve the quality of its members’ legal practice, to support and improve the justice system, and to support the community through voluntary and educational endeavors.’”
Founded in 1897, the Colorado Bar Association has a membership of approximately 18,000 attorneys.
Diane Vaksdal Smith is an award-winning attorney and a former Magistrate Judge for Colorado’s Seventeenth Judicial District.
