Pong-O is based on beer pong. Mark Pryor says "The objective and strategy of the game has been evolving over the last two years. It is finally at a point where we are ready to share it with the world". Different from beer pong, Pong-O does not need to involve alcohol. Points are scored rather than drinking. In this way it is also similar to the popular bag toss game a.k.a. cornhole.

Pong-O is not only a fun game but is also great exercise for the body and mind. There is no category on Kickstarter for "sport" games so this maybe the only game project on Kickstarter that promotes activity. In a world of computing and video games, it is nice to get off our butt, play and engage directly with other people.
