Manhattan Gold & Silver Hosts Breast Cancer Cupcake Fundraiser

To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Manhattan Gold & Silver (MGS) is partnering with the Butter Lane bakery to hold a “Cupcakes for Cancer” fundraiser.

This year marks the second anniversary of Cupcakes for Cancer. Because of the success and support from the first event, MGS has decided to turn the fundraiser into an annual event.

From October 22-26, 2012, the MGS storefront in the Diamond District (45 West 47th Street) will sell mouthwatering Butter Lane cupcakes freshly made by the local Butter Lane bakery. Donors will pay $20 per cupcake and MGS will donate 100% of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Breast cancer is the second-most commonly diagnosed cancer among U.S. women – more than one in four cancers found in women are breast cancer. MGS is proud to join the fight against this disease by raising as many donations as possible.
