Warren, Ohio (PRWEB) October 19, 2012
More than 100 women turned out Oct. 17 for a free Women’s Health Event at St. Joseph Health Center.
The ‘girls’ night out’ featured physician presentations on a variety of women’s health issues – plastic surgery, noninvasive body sculpting, robot-assisted gynecologic surgery, robot-assisted bariatric surgery and recommendations for mammography – and informational displays along with mini massages, mini facials, live music, refreshments and plenty of prizes and giveaways.
Here, Dr. Anthony DeSalvo explains how robot-assisted surgery provides for more precise procedures, less pain and quicker recovery for patients.
St. Joseph Health Center is the only health care provider in Trumbull County to offer this advanced treatment option; Humility of Mary Health Partners is the only health care system in nine contiguous counties to offer robot-assisted surgery.
