International Technological University (ITU) signs up as a sponsor and partner of BPR Cloud Institute on innovative educational program designed to recruit and train ESL (English as a Second Language) professionals and students for high-demand Cloud Computing jobs. ITU is also sponsoring a contest to award two scholarships to the full week-long program including certification training. Certifications and online badges are provided to students who complete the required courses in the conference.

The organizers of the “Fast Track to ESL Cloud Opportunities in 2013” conferences, The BPR Cloud Institute sponsored by ITU, has unveiled a new program to provide an accelerated learning, certification programs and networking opportunities for aspiring or experienced IT professionals looking to stay ahead of recent global developments in cloud computing technologies and solutions in Asia, Silicon Valley and Latino America. The conference will be launched at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose during the week of 12th November 2012. Sponsors and partners are lining up to support efforts to expand the global cloud IT workforce using Silicon Valley style accelerated educational methods.

Keynote themes include Why Cloud Computing Now?, Myth of Cloud Security Risks, How Small Business Competitors are Using the Cloud to Win, Small Business IT Issues, How to Upgrade Your Skills Portfolio, Global Cloud Opportunities: U.S. Hispanic, Latino America and Asia as well as a diverse range of sessions on virtualization and cloud computing concepts and terminology. In addition, the conferences will feature a number of leading experts participating in a series of sessions based on the CloudCampunconference model. BPR Cloud Institute is partnering with Cloud Camp to add a one day open Cloud Camp ESL with open discussions not sales pitches. Cloud ESL Camp, the first of its kind, will facilitate language learners.

The rest of the program includes optional unique ESL certification programs designed to make the participants proficient in the language of IT and the Cloud to facilitate global trade or become part of the cloud business development (BizDev) workforce. Students will master the concepts and obtain different levels of certification validating skills which will qualify them for many business to business marketing, sales and service opportunities.

SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST: Thanks to ITU for sponsoring two scholarships to the full week’s conference (minimum market value of $1295 each). There will be a contest hosted on the site with the winners selected based on criteria to be published week of 29 October 2012. We want to offer the scholarships to worthy individuals who want to apply the newly developed skills to solve big problems.
