Top Comedians Pledge Laughs for Barack the Vote Comedy Show and Pay-Per-View Special Hosted by Chris Spencer, Featuring Earthquake and Directed by Darren Grant, All Proceeds to Benefit Obama for America

Los Angeles-Hollywood’s top comedians and Barack The Vote LLC have joined together with Trippin’ On Tuesday’s producer Jeru Tillman to create the Barack The Vote Comedy Show to benefit the re-election of President Obama on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the legendary Comedy Store in West Hollywood. The evening is being hosted by comedian Chris Spencer, writer of the BET Awards and creative genius behind the forthcoming BET comedy series Real Husbands of Hollywood. The featured performer is comedian Earthquake with many comedy greats expected.

The fundraising special is being directed for online pay-per-view by Darren Grant who directed Tyler Perry’s Diary Of A Mad Black Woman. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20.00 at http://www.barackthevotecomedyshow.com. Beginning October 26, the public can view the entire show on the site for $.99 cents. The proceeds from the online viewership will also benefit Obama For America.

Trippin’ On Tuesdays is the biggest and most important outlet for comedy in Los Angeles. In the last month alone it has drawn appearances and performances by the likes of Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Mike Epps and Kevin Hart, to name a few. Trippin’ On Tuesday’s is held at the Comedy Store, 8433 Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood. Doors for the Barack The Vote Comedy Show open at 8:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 9:00 p.m.

Barack The Vote, LLC Inc. was founded in 2007 by the brother and sister team, Brandon Broussard and Lorielle Broussard. They are known for its signature Ba-Rack The Vote tee-shirt, selling over 50,000 for the 2008 campaign.
