Salt Lake County, Utah Mayor Peter Corroon proclaimed this week, October 14–20, 2012, as "AV Week" with the signing of the Salt Lake County proclamation. Mayor Corroon recognized the value audiovisual (AV) companies provide to business, education, medicine, government, and many other industries. According to InfoComm International, the AV industry is expected to reach $78 billion in global annual revenue in 2012 of which 39% will be generated in North America. The industry is projected to grow to $114 billion by 2015.

Salt Lake County, Utah Mayor Peter Corroon proclaimed this week, October 14–20, 2012, as "AV Week" with the signing of the Salt Lake County proclamation. Mayor Corroon recognized the value audiovisual (AV) companies provide to business, education, medicine, government, and many other industries. According to InfoComm International, the AV industry is expected to reach $78 billion in global annual revenue in 2012 of which 39% will be generated in North America. The industry is projected to grow to $114 billion by 2015.

“The audiovisual industry allows companies to meet with customers, shareholders, and others around the world without leaving the boardroom,” Mayor Corroon stated in the proclamation. “Millions of students are receiving an enhanced educational experience through use of AV information communications technology.”
