Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 21, 2012
Featuring 14K yellow gold and orange sapphire, Uneek’s shoe pendant was presented at the 5th annual Women on the Move Luncheon, held by the Central Virginia Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The handmade jewelry pendant was designed using CAD software and includes the society’s logo on the heel.
The first luncheon was held on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at the Marriot – Downtown in Richmond. Selected based on demonstrated excellence and leadership in the local community or workplace, this year’s winner was announced and presented with the pendant. A second luncheon was held in Fredericksburg, Virginia on Friday, Sept. 21, at the Fredericksburg Conference & Expo Center.
Going forward, the society plans to pass the shoe pendant down to a new winner each year. The goal of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to raise awareness of the disease, and improve the quality of life while helping to find a cure. By wearing Uneek’s pendant, winners of the society’s Central Virginia Chapter will contribute to raising awareness.
