“TV has made us all have short attention spans. Jurors expect lawyers to be smooth and well prepared. My iPad helps me present my client's case smoothly."

The ATLAS Lawyer Group is a non-profit that pulls together the best, brightest and most resourceful lawyers from across the United States to share ideas on how to market a modern-day law firm. The conference took place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from October 17-19. The agenda was full of informative seminars. From social media to mobile apps, the conference introduced attendees to several non-traditional methods of reaching out to prospective clients.
One particularly interesting seminar came from the reputable St. Louis injury lawyer, Spencer Farris. Farris, who also spoke at the Missouri Bar Solo and Small Firms Conference this year, informed attendees of the many uses of technology in the courtroom. He praised the iPad for helping him move trials more quickly and efficiently. As Farris explains, “TV has made us all have short attention spans. Jurors expect lawyers to be smooth and well prepared. My iPad helps me present my client's case smoothly."
In addition to his talks on technology in the courtroom, Spencer Farris will be featured in an upcoming book detailing iPad use for lawyers.
