Partners from Kennedy Hodges, LLP attended the “Bayou Ball” on September 22nd, 2012 – an event hosted by The Houston Trial Lawyers’ Foundation to support the Shriners Children Hospital. For decades, Shriners has offered free medical attention to children in need. In order to receive treatment, children must be less than 18 years old. Additionally, the hospital must be able to offer the child some form of medical attention that would be useful to them. Shriners has helped a multitude of children suffering from burn injuries, muscular disorders and skeletal disorder. Until the ball, the Shriners has been completely self-sufficient, staying in operation through endowments from members.
Partners from Kennedy Hodges, LLP had the opportunity to help others in need by supporting Shriners Children Hospital in Houston, Texas by attending the charity ball. Hosted by the Houston Trial Lawyers’ Foundation, the ball was Mardi-Gras themed and provided the local community an opportunity to give back to Shriners and make a difference in the lives of children in need. The Houston Trial Lawyers’ Foundation hosted the event to help children in Houston and the surrounding areas who are underprivileged and have been injured through no fault of their own.
