Homecare Homebase today announced the beta-release of the Patient Progress Report, a powerful new feature of their home health automation solution while at the 2012 NAHC Annual Conference & Exposition in Orlando, FL.

This newest functionality allows Homecare Homebase customers to quickly and accurately identify the current status of any patient on service by viewing a snapshot of not only their patient demographics and vital statistics, but graphical views of their pain level, episode utilization, medications, visits and key OASIS and care plan data. Even more valuable is the Episode Accrual feature of the snapshot that includes the patient’s progress from the initial start-of-care through the duration of all subsequent episodes, a truly comprehensive status on the patient.

“Timing is everything for home health supervisors when communicating with caregivers and physicians about patient status. Through the creation of the Patient Progress Report we have taken the vast amount of information available on each patient and created a streamlined, user-friendly view. This snapshot summarizes all key patient information and includes the ability to simply click-on any portion of the report to view additional details,” said Carleen Rogers, Product Manager at Homecare Homebase and the architect of the Patient Progress Report. “This functionality will allow users unprecedented access into a complete, quick view of each patient, ideal for not only case conferences, IDG meetings and discharge planning, but also critical in the vigilant oversight of patients and their progress.”

For over 10 years, Homecare Homebase has been dedicated to providing homecare and hospice agencies with a best-of-breed healthcare information system. Developed by industry veterans, Homecare Homebase offers a comprehensive, integrated solution that continues to stay ahead of the curve, as well as the competition, allowing customers to not only manage their business more effectively, but ultimately provide their patients with the best possible outcomes.

“Homecare Homebase continues to focus on tools that not only help streamline operations, but give our users powerful insight into their patients and their well-being,” said Tom Maxwell, Chief Strategy Officer at Homecare Homebase. “By giving our users easy access to a complete picture of any patient they are able to more easily identify trends in patient status that may warrant intervention, creating a better outcome for the patient and reducing the risk of rehospitalization.”
