OC Music has opened a new affiliate musical instrument store in Laguna Niguel at the corner of Crown Valley and Moulton/Golden Lantern. The new store called Tim’s OC Music (http://www.timsocmusic.com) specializes in musical instrument sales, band instrument rentals for school and private music lessons. The franchise is 100% independently owned by Tim Gill, son of OC Music founder Jeffrey A. Gill.

Tim’s OC Music sells a variety of musical instruments including acoustic and electric guitars by Ibanez, and Samick, along with drum sets by Tama and CB Percussion. In addition to guitars and drums the store also stocks a wide variety of musical accessories; including guitar strings by D’Addario, DR and Ernie Ball and drum accessories by Remo and Vic Firth among others.

However, most important... in fact the “heart and soul” of his business according to Gill, is in encouraging and supporting brand-new music makers; particularly 4th and 5th graders who are just started with their school band/orchestra journey. To that end, Gill offers a variety of high-quality Yamaha musical instruments rentals including, Violins, Violas, Flutes, Clarinets, Saxophones, Trumpets and Trombones. Yamaha musical instruments are considered by many to be the top musical instruments in the world.

Tim’s OC Music also offers private tutoring on all of the orchestral instruments mentioned above, in addition to private instruction on Piano, Guitar, Bass and Voice. While typically most students will take one 30-minute music lesson per week, private music students do have the option to come in more than one time per week and/or may extend their lesson time to 45-minutes or even 60-minutes at an additional cost.
