Aquafit exercises are held in salt-water swimming pools and are taught by experienced Group Fitness instructors who have received their certification. Exercise routines and sequences are performed in the pool and help workout both the upper and lower body for on all-around workout. This program is excellent for all ages – from teens and twenty-something-year-olds to senior citizens, as well as pregnant women, those who are overweight, and persons just recovering from injury, surgery, suffering from arthritis or other chronic illnesses.
