Global Intelligence Alliance Group Oy (GIA) has been awarded the highest recognition for financial conduct and market achievement amongst Finnish companies. The intelligence company, with offices in 10 countries around the world, has been awarded with two notable certificates in 2012.

Kauppalehti, the respected Finnish business daily, has honored the Helsinki-based market intelligence company with the Achiever 2012 certificate for its financial performance. The certificates are based on Kauppalehti's annual Achievers (Menestyjä) series comparing the financial success of Finnish companies. Obtaining the Achiever certificate requires that the company's financial performance to be among the best in its industry and in Finland, according to the following criteria: growth, profitability, financial result, liquidity, solidity, and risk tolerance. Onlty some 4 percent of Finnish companies are eligible for the Achiever certification.

Based on Kauppalehti's analysis, Achievers are said to be reliable and desirable partners as well as good employers. The Achiever certificate also shows that the management and organization of the holder company are working efficiently and have the required business acumen.

GIA has also been awarded the AAA certificate, the highest class in the Soliditet credit rating classification. Soliditet is the leading Nordic provider of credit and business information. The rating, which is achieved by only 3.7 percent of all companies in Finland, recognizes companies with above average economic indicators, positive payment history, as well as high volume of sales activity.

“In helping our clients understand, compete and grow in global markets, we also take it upon ourselves to apply the same to our own business. Achieving top financial performance requires an awareness of the business environment and the related opportunities and threats, competing more effectively and growing into the right business opportunities. This allows us to choose the right investments in our people, processes and systems and achieve high customer retention and satisfaction, which in turn drives healthy return on investment. We actively ensure that we provide a great place to work for our employees so that as a company, we continue to stay innovative and creative,” said Markko Vaarnas, CEO of GIA.
