It is shocking and upsetting to see the rise of cyber-bulling and it seems celebrities are just as much victims as everyone else.

Pop star Adele welcomed the birth of her baby boy over the weekend, only to be met with threatening and abusive tweets wishing harm on both her and her baby.
One of the abusive tweets read: “Aw Adele gave birth to a baby. Is it fat and handicapped lol? Just murder it already lol. (sic) ”
Other celebrity victims this year have been Take That singer Gary Barlow after the tragic loss of his baby daughter and Olympic diver Tom Daley, with one tweeter making references to his dead father.
A recent survey by Ipsos for Reuters News found that one in ten parents around the world believe their child had been a victim of cyber-bullying. The recent case of Canadian teen, Amanda Todd, has forced the issue into the spotlight following her suicide after posting a YouTube video detailing her ordeal with cyber-bullying. The video has received over 20 million views to date.
The investigators at private detective Leeds are often requested to look into cases of bullying which are frequently becoming more online based.
A spokesperson from Leeds Private Detectives said:
“It is shocking and upsetting to see the rise of cyber-bulling and it seems celebrities are just as much victims as everyone else. We are often called upon to investigate cases of bullying and identify the culprit. It’s all too easy for many of these people to hide behind a keyboard. We aim to provide a peace of mind for parents and victims.”
