Mr. Gillespie will have responsibility for the strategy and execution of all sales, design and support resources.

Mr. Gillespie joins CoSentry from Savvis, Inc., where he was employed for nine years in roles of increasing responsibility as a change agent and sales leader, serving most recently as Area Vice President of Sales, East Region. In that position, he led enterprise sales in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, as well as the Carrier Sales and Federal Systems lines of business across North America.
Leading a combined team of 60 professionals, Mr. Gillespie delivered global infrastructure as a service (IaaS), consulting/professional services and cloud-based solutions to more than 900 clients and managing $400 million of annual revenue for the company.
Prior to that, Mr. Gillespie served as Area Vice President of Sales – Financial Services. He was the architect of the sales team that supported all of SAVVIS’s financial services business in North America. The financial services line of business became the cornerstone of SAVVIS’s success during his tenure there securing a variety of financial clients including global banks, hedge funds, exchanges and wealth and asset management firms. Previously, he had led other transformations as the Regional Vice President of Sales – Southeast Region, and Regional Sales Director – New York. Prior to Savvis, Mr. Gillespie served as a Client Business Manager at AT&T, and as a Director of Sales at STG and its subsidiary Critical IP.
Mr. Gillespie attended the United States Naval Academy where he majored in History. He is also a serving board member of the Henri Viscardi School in Long Island, NY.
