Election season isn’t just about making a choice. At Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco Portland, it’s about making a deal.
On this Election Day, Nov. 6, Hotel Monaco guests are invited to unofficially vote for their favorite presidential candidate. Each guest to correctly choose the 45th president will receive $45 off their bill upon check-out.
“We are really getting into the spirit of this election and we wanted to pass along that excitement to our guests,” said Craig Thompson, general manger of the Hotel Monaco Portland. “A person’s political preference doesn’t matter. What matters is how we can take this election as an opportunity to have a little fun with our guests and give them a much deserved reward.”
Guests can cast their vote when checking in on Election Day. The Monaco ‘polls’ will close at 8 p.m. when polls close on the West Coast.
