The Woods Hole Research Center at 149 Woods Hole Rd. in Falmouth MA., announced it's continued efforts to “go green” for health and wellness by implementing Greening the Cleaning® products from The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center™ at Hackensack University Medical Center. The GTC products were developed at Hackensack University Medical Center over 10 years ago and are more environmentally responsible and less toxic than typical cleaning chemicals. All profits from the institutional products go back to The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center™ for supporting education and research to identify, control, and ultimately prevent toxic exposures in the environment that threaten our children's health.
The GTC program is our mission in action and I’m thrilled The Woods Hole Research Center is doing their part to keep toxins out of our environment, said Deirdre Imus, founder and president of The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center™, a 501(c)(3) not for profit.
“Our staff at The Woods Hole Research Center in Falmouth, Massachusetts found the Greening the Cleaning products through some friends at Vineyard Bottled Waters on Martha’s Vineyard” said Fred Palmer, Director of Maintenance at The Woods Hole Research Center. “Our Research Center was looking to continue its efforts as a green establishment with environmentally friendly cleaning products that work well. We love using the GTC products in our state of the art green buildings not only because they offer safe, natural products that work great but also because we feel that the focus of The Deirdre Imus Environmental Health Center™ is so important and we really respect that. We love the fact that we can work in a place that goes to such great lengths to do its part to save the environment in so many ways, including the cleaning products we use.” For more information please contact us at Whrc.org
