Today Drivefleet, a leading provider of online fleet driver training, introduced a new Vehicle Policy Testing service to help fleet managers manage compliance with fleet drivers. This innovative new service helps ensure all drivers understand an organization’s fleet or vehicle policy by validating their comprehension, which improves compliance. Better compliance means lower fleet risk, stronger defense against negligent entrustment lawsuits, and more consistent performance and conduct standard for fleet drivers.
“Driver compliance with the fleet policy is always a challenge for fleet managers,” said Rich Radi, Drivefleet CEO. “The first step is to make sure their drivers understand the policy and have some structured way to assess their comprehension. Our new Vehicle Policy Testing solution does just that!”
Drivefleet’s Vehicle Policy Testing service is easy to administer and accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Here’s how it works:
1. The vehicle policy is converted into a custom online exam
2. Driver information is uploaded into the Drivefleet system
3. The Vehicle Policy Test is electronically assigned to drivers through email
4. Drivers take the test online
5. Management has online access to reports that show who has taken the course and how they scored
The Vehicle Policy Test can be up to 20 questions from a database of 50 questions and questions can be configured so that they always show up on the test or that they are randomly selected. Once the test is assigned, drivers will receive an email notification with their logon information and the due date for completing the test. Upon successfully passing the exam, the driver will receive a certificate of completion.
