The new offices continue the dramatic expansion for AGR Field Services, which conducts local door-to-door sales campaigns on behalf of its retail energy clients. Since June, AGR Field Services has also begun operations in Dayton, Ohio, Centerville, Ohio, and Troy, Mich.

According to AGR Group President Matt Judkin, the rapid growth reflects two factors: the market need of retail energy suppliers for an effective face-to-face sales channel, and consumer desire for the products they are offering.

“Our clients recognize that door-to-door sales can be an effective component of their overall sales strategy,” Judkin said. “And they have responded by providing attractive retail energy products to the consumer. It’s a very effective combination, and we are very pleased with the recent growth.”

AGR Group has been a leader in energy telesales since 2002, connecting more than 3.5 million customers to the price-protection and money-saving electricity and natural gas agreements of its retail energy clients.

The company launched its door-to-door sales division in earnest earlier this year, with the hiring of industry veteran Sherry Robinson as Executive Director. Robinson was previously a driving force behind customer acquisition for one of the Mid-Atlantic’s largest energy suppliers, and she comes to AGR Field Services with over 20 years’ experience in sales operations and channel management.

“The telemarketing industry is shrinking, as the Do Not Call list continues to grow and consumers drop their land lines in favor of mobile phones,” Robinson said. “Door-to-door, done right, is an effective alternative for direct sales.”
